Hatch Style Tonneau Vinyl Truck bed Cover No Snaps. On this model, total removal of cover requires unbolting the front hinge from the cab wall. Home of the Top to topless in 20 seconds. Craftec is the original manufacturer of removable hi quality, hatch-style Tonneau bed covers for classic and late model pickup trucks and El Caminos. Made in the U.S.A with a variety of UV resistant Vinyl choices that stretch over the top of the custom extruded 6063-T6 aluminum framework. Ultra Low profile at 3/8” above truck bed enhances the appearance of your truck. Requires drilling. Limited lifetime warranty on framework, 3 years warranty on shocks and vinyl.
There are cloth pull straps attached to the cover’s latch handles on the under side. A small amount of the strap has to hang out of the rear corners to give a tug and release the side cover handles. It’s just a very small amount of strap that is rarely noticeable from the outside.
Cover removal requires unbolting of hinge.

'65 Ranchero
I looked at all different types of tops for my '65 Ranchero and selected Craftec as the best. Installed within a few hours and looks fantastic on my vehicle. I did not want to drill holes on the body for snaps and so the top by Craftec was just what I wanted. Have won 3 trophies in car shows this summer (out of 4 shows) and I believe the top put our vehicle "over the top". It really sets off the car and adds to the look. Very happy with my Craftec top.

Q:
I saw your video on installation but my ranchero has the latch on the inside of the tailgate. How do you secure the cover latches on a 1964 Falcon Ranchero?
Asked by:
- 8/3/2015
A:
The inside latch handles have a cloth pull strap that needs a small length to stay between the closed cover and tailgate in order to give a tug and release the latches.
